Arclet Access Fund
A national study in the Journal of Public Health Management & Practice finds that nearly half of government public health workers spend some time on communications ā but only 11% identify it as their primary role.
Communications is essential, yet consistently under-resourced, overstretched, and undervalued.
The Arclet Access Fund exists because we believe that changes when practitioners have the tools to show what's possible. When under-resourced teams can produce trusted, timely, culturally relevant health information they make the case for why communications deserves a real seat at the table.
More visibility leads to more value. More value leads to more investment. More investment leads to a health information ecosystem where no one is left out.
Thatās the long game. The Access Fund is how we start.
Arclet Access Fund: One Year Access
At Arclet, we believe great communication shouldn't depend on budget size. That's why we're expanding the Arclet Access Fundāto support new pilot sites across the country with a full year of Arclet access at no cost. We open applications twice a year, in spring and fall.
We're looking for community-based organizations, community health centers, rural hospitals, and local public health agencies ready to strengthen their communications capacity and help shape the future of Arclet.
Selected partners will receive:
A 1-year Arclet subscription with unlimited seats (covered by the Arclet Access Fund)
Personalized onboarding and support from our team
The opportunity to collaborate on localizing and improving Arli, our AI health communications co-pilot
Together, we'll explore how Arclet can make trusted, community-rooted communication easier and more effectiveāwhether online or offline.

Arclet Access Fund: 2026 Cohort 1
We launched Cohort 1 in January 2026, with six organizations across five states. Here's what brought them to Arclet:
"I am the only staff person handling communications efforts. I have very little support internally and need a system in place for all communications." ā Local Health Department
"We struggle getting vetted health information out to non-English speakers in a timely wayāespecially during emergency response." ā County Health Department
"Arclet has the potential to close the resource gap we face and help us reach the people who need information the most." ā Local Health Department
Arclet Access Fund: 2025 National Conference on Health Communication, Media & Marketing
In June 2025, we launched the Arclet Access Fund to help make public health communications more inclusive and connected.
Using a portion of our NC IDEA grant funding, the Access Fund covered registration costs for five health communicators to attend the 2025 National Conference on Health Communication, Media, and Marketing in Atlanta.
